Funny, or sad?

So, my boss made this pendant that said 'Yes We Can'. It was only after she asked which color represented Democrats that I realized it was an Obama reference. Hand to God, I thought she'd made a Bob the Builder necklace. I have no small children (yet), I have no excuse. Other than being Libertarian. Is wanting to have an excuse for being completely out of the pop-culture loop an acceptable reason for having kids?

In the last two hours, I have had THREE political poll phone calls. They've got four minutes, and then the next one gets immediately answered with "I'll vote for whoever will shut the hell up and let me get back to what I was doing!"
